Ash Grove is a leading cement manufacturer in the United States. Its Foreman Plant was one of eight cement plants, 25 terminals and extensive readymixed concrete and aggregates operations acquired by CRH for €2.9 billion in 2018.

Oldcastle Infrastructure, part of CRH’s Building Products Division, developed a new mass production process for the manufacture of highly specialized lightweight precast rail blocks to go across this floating bridge over Lake Seattle.

Dufferin Construction – part of CRH’s Americas Materials Division in Canada – was involved in completing the Yonge Street Rapidway, a major transport route that connects the city of Toronto to Lake Ontario. The scope of work included design of the roadway, bus rapid transit, retaining walls, stations, utilities, and major intersection reconfigurations.

CRH is the largest producer of asphalt in North America. As a 100% recyclable product it helps to make CRH a significant contributor to the circular economy.

Oldcastle Infrastructure, part of CRH’s Building Products Division, supplied 2.1 miles of pre-fabricated concrete box culverts to a storm water drainage project in downtown Tampa, providing enhanced safety for pedestrians and vehicles.

Completed in November 2020, the Turcot Interchange is the largest road construction project in the history of Quebec. The Demix companies within CRH’s Americas Materials Division built the concrete pavement, asphalt pavement, concrete barriers, sidewalks, curbs, bike paths and some retaining walls for the project.
